Uppdaterat släktträd

Ett årtal har förtydligats på vårt Tempels släktträd och under fliken Härkomst, nämligen det om när A.E. Waites Fellowship of the Rosy Cross återupplivades under 1960-talet. Det korrekta årtalet är 1968. Denna härkomst till vårt Tempel är en av de mindre viktiga som har förmedlades till oss genom Desmond Bourke och det genom honom auktoriserade Ahatoor Tempel Nr. 7 i Paris. Dock vill vi ha våra fakta så klara och korrekta som det är möjligt för läsaren att orientera sig.

The question of Divine Evil: Dualism and the Golden Dawn – Part Two

 

I would like to share with you some of my thoughts that have been raised in recent discussions, following my pervious essay on this matter, and in particular on the subject of “evil” versus “good”. I would agree with the standard Golden Dawn definition that “evil” may be regarded simply as “unbalance” or lack of equilibrium. Thus the only difference between a “good” order and an “evil” one lays in the whole, not in its parts. When you view the corresponding part of both a “good” and an “evil” system of arrangement you will see the same innate nature in both, in the sense of being two sides of the same coin. It is when you regard the whole system that you will notice a difference; the “good” system is the world of harmoniously working and integrated Sephiroth on the Tree of Life, while the “evil” system shows differentiation, disassociation, disharmony and chaos in its corresponding Qlippoth. But is has to be remembered that both the Sephiroth and the Qlippoth share the same innate nature, which has its origin in the Divine. Thus, if there is an evil, this is also part of God. The importance and significance of lineage and tradition

A couple of weeks ago I answered a query on the necessity of secrecy and lineage, in particular the one claimed by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Outer Order of the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha et Omega®. Det nya vetenskapliga paradigmet

En ny svensk text har lagts in under rubriken ”Hermeticism” med titeln Det nya vetenskapliga paradigmet. Denna text presenterar ett traditionalistiskt manifest för en ny och kommande era. I detta strävar den att förlika andlighet, religion och tro med vetenskap, empiri och evidens och framkastar tanken om att den nuvarande situationen där tro och vetenskap är separerade representerar en sjukdom eller störning i vårt postmoderna samhälle. Manifestet inleds med följande ord:

Jag är personligen övertygad om att det finns mer till denna världen än vad som möter de fem fysiska sinnena, översinnliga plan som hör till samma natur som medvetandets stoff. Jag är personligen övertygad, både utifrån rationella slutsatser och intuitiva erfarenheter, att den fysiska världen är ett sista led i en skapelseprocess och där utgör det yttersta och grövsta lagret i ett universum som kan liknas vid en lök i sina skikt. Det är övertygelse som jag delar med ett traditionellt synsätt vilket har förmedlats genom olika mysterietraditioner både i öst och i väst sedan tidernas begynnelse. Dualism and the Golden Dawn – Part 1

What is the position of Golden Dawn initiates on the subject of dualism? The answer to that question depends upon what one defines as being “dualist”. Golden Dawn initiates are NOT dualist as normally regarded by Christian, Gnostic and Zarathustrian doctrines. Thus we don’t believe in an evil force called “Satan”, or as the demiurge “Yaldabaoth”, or as “Ahriman”, in opposition to a good force called “God” or “Ormus”, etc. But we do believe in the two great polarities throughout nature, such as day and night, light and darkness, or male and female, etc. But as Hermeticists we also believe that these two great polarities are both part of GOD or The ALL. This relates the Hermetic tradition also with the Sabbathian Qabalistic tradition, where Evil is seen as part of GODHEAD. The seeming opposition between Evil and Good is only seen as antagonistical when viewed from the limited human perspective, but not if seen from the perspective of Godhead, where all opposites are reconciled. Insurgence in the Golden Dawn

On winter solstice of December 21st, 2010, the world experienced a full lunar eclipse, meaning that the Sun and the Moon stood at direct opposition towards each other in their relation, Sol throwing a shadow instead of light over Luna. This implies a great unbalance between the two great opposites of existence, the divine feminine and masculine, the Great Mother and the Great Father, between the black and white Pillars, between mercy and severity, etc. This, I am conviced, has created a great cosmic occurrence. In my personal life – the microcosm – me and my family, and some of my relatives, immediately experienced disruptive currents, such as serious accidents and severe somatic sickness. Mentalism in the New Age

The latest hype of commercialism in the New Age market is the so-called “Law of Attraction,” promoted and profited through the movie from 2006 entitled The Secret, which a year later developed into the book bearing the same title. This book and movie presents the Law of Attraction in a manner giving the impression that this has been an occulted and guarded secret passed on between initiates; we have to thank The Secret for its disclosure. In this little essay I will try to put this term into its proper context. This is especially important as the Law of Attraction lately (and after the release of The Secret) has become associated with the Golden Dawn Tradition because of Robert Zink, one of the original founders and recently expelled Chief of the Esoteric Order of the Golden Dawn (formerly known as the Hermetic Order of the Morning Star International and Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn International).
